About Linda

As a licensed massage therapist, I chose to pursue a career in this health field to continue my passion for helping others. Massage in a way, has helped me come full circle in my career choices.
My search began at Slippery Rock University as a Health, Physical Education and Recreation major. After working as an activity director of a YWCA in Evanston, Illinois I moved into the hospitality industry. As an on-site manager of a resort, this job provided new challenges with long hours, but I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. Yet something was missing. I decided to try the corporate world of retail. For 11 years I worked in customer service at the retail management level, for Lowe’s Companies. Finding a need for more flexibility and the interest to help people on a more individual basis, I decided to go back to school. Massage became a way to come back to the health and education field and help individuals manage the daily stresses of life.
I attended Everest University and completed their massage therapy program in March 2009. This school provided incredible hands on experience and the staff was knowledgeable and supportive.
This year, I celebrated 11 years cancer free and massage was an important part of my recovery. In addition, while managing hundreds of people and million dollar budgets working in retail, trust me, I needed more massage and bodywork treatments. Because of these experiences, I understand the importance of balancing daily activities and good health.
I am looking forward to meeting you soon to begin your treatments to restore, rejuvenate and renew the new you!
