What to Expect

First, you will be asked some brief questions and you will fill out a medical history form.

Next, you will be asked to remove jewelry and any other items that may interfere with your massage.  Then, you will be asked to undress to your comfort level and lie under the provided sheet on table.  All treatments provide sheets or blanket for draping purposes and warmth during massage. Respect for your modesty and maintaining professionalism are always adhered to during your massage treatment.

Once on the massage table, just relax.  Breathing deeply and fully will help your muscles relax to a deeper level and allow for a more effective treatment.

Communication is very important.  Always let the therapist know if the pressure needs to be adjusted or if more time is needed in a specific area.  Specializing treatment to YOUR needs is my main priority.  We can focus on any area of discomfort or do a full body massage, which will include your face, neck, back, arms, hands, legs, and feet.

Oils or lotions will be used to work the muscles without causing excessive friction to the skin.

After the massage, you may feel a little lightheaded.  Give yourself 5 to 15 minutes to recover.  Experts usually recommend drinking plenty of water after a massage, to avoid experiencing any excessive soreness.
